Primers & Creme Waxes

Crème waxes can produce amazing results. They have an even creamier consistency than paints, and provide a beautiful silky finish. They are water-based, which makes them much easier to use. Colourless wax is ideal for protecting surfaces by applying and polishing several layers, for blending with coloured waxes, and for the shabby technique. White wax is intended mainly for the pickling technique, and coloured waxes for achieving an ageing effect and for blends in hollows. The latter effect is achieved by applying colourless wax on top of coloured wax and rubbing them together to brighten up selected places.

BONDING PRIMER
Bonding primer is a product for preliminary application which further increases the adhesion and durability of Ambiente Chalky paints. It is recommended for use on slippery and “difficult” surfaces, such as laminate, plywood, existing layers of paint, glass, sheet metal, zinc, and functional surfaces.

IMPREGNATE-BLOCKER
This is a professional primer for use before applying Ambiente Renesans chalk paints. It protects the paint from stains which may arise from seeping of existing fluids. It isolates from wood stain or other products which may formerly have been applied to old furniture.
